AMPYR Australia has secured the green light for the interconnection of its 270-MW Northern Battery to be built near Port Augusta in South Australia, preparing to launch construction later this year.

AMPYR Australia has received a 5.3.4 letter from AEMO for the 270MW Northern Battery near Port Augusta in South Australia.

The Independent Planning Commission (IPC) of New South Wales has given the thumbs up to a 360-MW solar park project with co-located batteries by a subsidiary of Recurrent Energy.
