The extensive search and rescue operation involves specialist Police Search Advisors, a marine unit, and drone pilots to locate the missing boy. Chief Superintendent Phil Booker has urged the public to avoid the search area to allow emergency services to work efficiently and safely, and to refrain from speculating on the incident. This incident follows a recent death of a 14-year-old boy in London and warnings from the Royal Life Saving Society about the dangers of open water during warm weather.
