Databricks joins the Open Secure AI Alliance to advance AI safety and security

Databricks is an inaugural member of the Open Secure AI Alliance with NVIDIA and other organizations, a coalition built on the premise that defenders are stronger when the models, harnesses, and tooling they depend on are open to study, adapt, and run. Our own work follows that principle: Omnigent, Databricks AI Security Framework (DASF), Databricks AI Governance Framework (DAGF), and BlackIce are all open source and available to the community. On the defense side, Lakewatch leverages the Databricks Open Security Lakehouse foundation, enabling security teams to run open weight and proprietary models, custom tools, and threat intelligence seamlessly.
