Over 150 roads closed in Himachal; MeT predicts wet spell till August 10

Over 150 roads are closed in Himachal Pradesh due to heavy rainfall. Water supply schemes and transformers have also been disrupted across the state. Sirmaur Police and Home Guard jawans rescued twenty-five nomads trapped in a swollen river. Heavy to very heavy rain lashed parts of the state in the past twenty-four hours. The Shimla MeT office has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain.
