Udhayanidhi Stalin set to walk free as Tamil Nadu govt says it has no intent to remand him

Udhayanidhi Stalin is set to be released on Tuesday following an extensive police interrogation. The Tamil Nadu government has informed the Madras High Court of its decision not to seek remand. Consequently, after the Advocate General's statement, the court has dismissed his bail application. Police had previously visited his home for inquiries concerning his controversial remarks. Subsequently, he was detained and taken to Thanjavur for further questioning.
