Udhayanidhi Stalin Detained: Chennai Police took DMK MLA Udhayanidhi Stalin and fellow party workers into custody following the filing of an FIR concerning his purportedly insulting remarks about Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay. While protesting, Udhayanidhi voiced his disdain for the Chief Minister's policies and lack of action on farmers' grievances, accusing the government of leaning on unoriginal DMK strategies from their previous tenure.
