Teen boy found dead with chop wounds in St Thomas

The police in St Thomas are investigating the death of a 17-year-old boy whose body was discovered in the Bamboo River community in Morant Bay on Sunday. He has been identified by the police as Adjanie Christie, who lived in Greater Portmore, St Catherine. The police report that residents stumbled upon Christie’s body around 7:50 a.m. and called the police. Upon arrival, the police say the body was found clad in blue denim shorts, a T-shirt and a pair of Crocs slippers. The police also said that the body had multiple chop wounds.
