Jamaica, Ghana strengthen cooperation across key sectors

Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness says Jamaica and the Republic of Ghana have deepened relations to include cooperation in health, tourism, education and air services. Holness and President of the Republic of Ghana, John Mahama, held bilateral talks today at Jamaica House. The West African leader is on a four-day state visit to Jamaica. The prime minister said Jamaica signed an agreement to recruit health professionals from the West African country and a memorandum of understanding on defence cooperation.
