In a remarkable discovery, paleontologists in China unearthed hundreds of fossilized pterosaur eggs and bones, dating back 120 million years. These ancient remains shed new light on the early lives of pterosaurs. Notably, investigation of the embryonic bones suggests that while hatchlings possessed the ability to walk, they were unable to fly, implying a dependency on parental nourishment during their early stages of development.
