India-Uzbekistan to double trade in 3 years; Goyal pushes cooperation in agri, pharma & tech

India and Uzbekistan are aiming to double bilateral trade to around $3 billion in the next three years. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal called for co-investment, co-manufacturing and co-innovation across sectors including critical minerals, pharma, agriculture, technology and automobiles. Uzbekistan’s Investment Minister Laziz Kudratov joined the India-Uzbekistan Business Forum in New Delhi, attended by 200+ businesses. Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister also met President Droupadi Murmu, with talks covering trade, critical minerals, education and the countries’ historic ties.
