Pensioners' body calls for nationwide protest on August 5, demands Rs 7,500 minimum monthly pension

The EPS95 National Agitation Committee has called for a nationwide protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on August 5, demanding that the minimum monthly pension under the Employees' Pension Scheme be raised from ₹1,000 to ₹7,500, along with dearness allowance, free medical benefits and implementation of higher pension benefits as per Supreme Court rulings.
