Google shaves $50 million off HCLTech deal; 1,000 staffers to be redeployed - The Economic Times

This is part of the $200 million annual project that HCLTech managed for Google as part of the application development and engineering work that the IT player managed for the last 10 years, two people familiar with the development confirmed to ET. The reduced work will cost HCLTech around 0.3% of its annual revenue which is around $14.7 billion. Incrementally, it is likely to be around 6% of the revenue in FY26.
