Both recalled products present a serious risk of injury and death due to tip-over, fall, and entrapment hazards, according to the CPSC. The Woodure recall affects 91,000 units, with the company reporting 22 incidents of instability or tip-overs, leading to 15 reported injuries including scrapes, cuts, and bruises. The HARPPA recall involves 47,166 units, with three reports of the tower stools collapsing or tipping over, resulting in two injuries such as scrapes, cuts, and bruises. Consumers are urged to immediately stop using the recalled stools, store them away from children, and contact Woodure or HARPPA for a free repair kit.
