Filmmaker and director Justin Hardy dies aged 61

Hardy had recently completed Wrath Of The Gods, a film inspired by a concept from his father's unearthed script, which is set to premiere on 28 August. His family expressed their devastation, saying he was “so full of life right to the end” and incredibly energised by his latest work. Throughout his career, Hardy directed episodes for series such as The Bill and London's Burning, and received nominations for an Emmy and a BAFTA. He also co-released the documentary Children Of The Wicker Man with his brother Dominic, exploring their family's legacy with their father's cult classic.
