99 lakh MT legacy waste cleared at Bhalswa; Delhi minister Manohar Lal calls for faster action

Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar reviewed Bhalswa dumpsite remediation progress. Officials reported 99.07 lakh MT legacy waste cleared by July 31, 2026. Remaining waste is expected to be cleared by October 15, 2026. Fresh waste processing at the landfill site needs to be expedited. This ensures scientific management and accelerates overall remediation efforts.
