Jay Clayton to take charge as US Director of National Intelligence after Bill Pulte's exit

Bill Pulte's interim Director of National Intelligence tenure concludes this Monday. Jay Clayton will assume the Director of National Intelligence role after Senate confirmation. Pulte expressed gratitude to President Trump for the opportunity to serve. He offered Jay Clayton his complete and total support for the transition. Clayton inherits an intelligence office which has undergone significant reductions.
