Textile minister Giriraj Singh reiterates focus on cotton sector

The Union Textiles Minister highlighted the Rs 5,659 crore Cotton Productivity Mission. This mission aims to boost farm productivity and fibre quality significantly. The Cotton Corporation of India procured over 522 lakh quintals of seed cotton. Four MoUs were signed to strengthen quality and market access. These initiatives will position Indian cotton as a premium global fibre.
