West Bengal Police arrested a Jaish-e-Mohammed operative named Hamim Mondal. He allegedly targeted state minister Suvendu Adhikari and another minister. Links to Pakistan handlers and money trails are currently under investigation. His close aide, Arpita Sarkar, was also apprehended in Jharkhand. The operatives used encrypted communication methods for their planning.
