PM Modi inaugurates Rs 5,000 cr Bhogapuram Airport at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram in Andhra Pradesh. Developed by the GMR Group at a cost of nearly ₹5,000 crore, the airport is expected to boost connectivity, investment, exports and employment in North Andhra. Commercial operations are set to begin on August 17.
