Group waylays couple, thrashes engineer, gang-rapes fiancée in MP jungle

BHOPAL: A group of men waylaid an engineer and his 26-year-old fiancee and led them into a roadside forest in MP's Guna district late Thursday, where they allegedly gang-raped the woman and subjected her to brutal torture with a wooden stick besides thrashing and robbing the couple. Police formed an SIT to trace the perpetrators, who fled the scene.
