Aucamp appoints two new members to FMD industry coordination council

Agriculture Minister Willie Aucamp on Friday announced the appointment of Dr Theo de Jager and Dr Danie Odendaal to the Industry Coordination Council, a key body overseeing the implementation of South Africa’s national foot-and-mouth disease strategy, as the government intensifies efforts to contain the livestock disease.
