Drone, UAV ban imposed across Delhi ahead of Independence Day

Delhi Police has prohibited drone and aerial platform flights for fifteen days. This order is in effect from August second until August sixteenth. Security concerns ahead of Independence Day celebrations prompted the prohibition. Intelligence inputs indicated potential threats from such aerial platforms. Violators will face action under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
