Tired of seeing random tags and graffiti all over Rome, 28-year-old architectural restorer Valerio Tuveri has decided to take matters into his own hands. Armed with a sand blaster and a growing social media following, he's restoring the Italian capital's historic walls one surface at a time.

28-year-old Valerio Tuveri became known on social media as "the guy who cleans Rome" after he began posting videos of himself cleaning graffiti from the Italian capital's walls.

He calculates that he cleaned about eight kilometres of walls - " all the embankment walls along the banks of the Tiber" - ahead of the Vatican's 2025 Jubilee.
