Clarendon carpenter dies in fiery crash; road death toll climbs to 185

A 30-year-old Clarendon carpenter is the parish's latest road fatality, following a fiery, single-vehicular crash along the Dawkins Pen main road on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Shaquile Campbell of McGilchrist in Toll Gate. Reports from the Lionel Town police are that about 7:15 pm, Campbell was driving south towards Lionel Town in a black Toyota Corolla Fielder, when, on reaching a section of the roadway, he reportedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree.
