DUBAI: Stefano Domenicali, the president and CEO of Formula One, has said that the 2026 races in Abu Dhabi and Qatar are “confirmed,” despite ongoing speculation due to the political situation in the region. Domenicali revealed the news during a media interview on F1’s official website. He added that he was looking forward to the rest of the season with “a lot of positivity.” Speaking in the wake of the Hungarian Grand Prix, he praised the decision to host the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia, thanking both countries for their cooperation in the matter.

“I can guarantee that we will not do any other race in the U.S.,” F1 CEO and president Stefano Domenicali told reporters Wednesday.

Formula 1 has already been forced to cancel races this season due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East
