BEIRUT: Lebanese President Joseph Aoun arrived in Ankara on Thursday for an official visit to Turkiye, where he is scheduled to hold talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and senior officials, the Lebanese National News Agency reported. Aoun was received at Ankara Military Airport by Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, who is accompanying the visit, along with Turkish officials and Lebanon’s Ambassador to Turkiye Mounir Anouti, according to the agency.
