Intel is reported to be preparing Raptor Lake Next, a third refresh of its Raptor Lake processors on the LGA 1700 socket, for the first half of 2027. The chips would support DDR4, which stays cheaper than DDR5 after AI demand pushed memory prices up. Intel has declined to comment.
