While the legal process may have concluded, Irish authorities state that diplomatic steps are still necessary to finalise the extradition plans, with no set timeline for his transportation. The High Court in Dublin previously identified Kinahan as a senior figure in an organised crime gang involved in international drug trafficking and firearms offences, with US authorities offering a reward of up to five million dollars for his arrest in 2022.
