The instantly recognisable three-piece ensemble, which includes a handwritten inscription from Travolta, will lead Propstore’s Summer Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction in Los Angeles. The four-day live sale, scheduled from 26 to 29 August, features over 1,700 lots of film and television memorabilia. The entire collection of memorabilia has a combined pre-sale estimate of $10 million (£7 million). Other notable items up for auction include Frank the Rabbit’s costume from Donnie Darko, the screen-matched mosquito in amber fossil from Jurassic Park, and an original Golden Snitch from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
