Jaxon sustained serious injuries in the fall, which occurred at a premises in Woodhouses, Bishop Auckland, about 2.45pm on Friday while he was with friends. He was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle, for treatment but died on Tuesday as a result of his injuries. Durham Constabulary is investigating the circumstances of the incident, working alongside the Health and Safety Executive. Jaxon's family has thanked those who offered support and urged other parents to keep their children away from the area where the incident occurred.
