He claimed he wanted a fair opportunity to demonstrate his cybersecurity skills. Instead of pursuing immediate legal action, the institute has decided to assess his technical abilities. If he proves his competence, IIT Kanpur may offer him an opportunity to apply through the next admission cycle.
