Howard University has reinstated over 200 first-year students initially unenrolled. Many students and families misunderstood communicated financial obligations before the fall semester. The university stated clear communication regarding tuition balances and immunization requirements. Some students faced panic and difficulty reaching officials for resolutions. After meetings and reviews, the school successfully reenrolled many of these students.

Howard University has re-enrolled at least 40 first-year students after it cancelled 502 students’ enrollment last week for missing a payment deadline.
