A Norwegian teenager was recruited by a 16-year-old hitman acting for an Iran-based gang linked to antisemitic attacks – a method police refer to as “violence as a service”.

Johannes Natland, 18 at the time, flew from Stavanger, south-west Norway, to Britain to assassinate a target in return for £21,000, the Old Bailey was told.
