Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners today said it has brought online the second phase of its Supernode battery in Queensland and announced that funding has been secured for the AUD-1.2-billion project’s (USD 834.4m/EUR 732.1m) third stage.

Quinbrook begins planning journey for the first of two solar projects worth up to 500 MW, which will be key to power Australia's big push into the global PV supply chain.

Second stage of huge Supernode battery project starts operations, making it the biggest battery in Australia's main grid, and another stage, possibly two, to come.
