It was a rare sight at the Commonwealth Games for the 100m podium to be without a Jamaican athlete, but that was the reality yesterday as both Ackeem Blake and Rohan Watson failed to advance to the men’s final. In semifinal one, Watson’s time of 10.12 seconds saw him placing sixth and far outside of a qualifying spot.
