Ambuja Cements shares rose over 1% despite reporting a 34% YoY decline in Q1 FY27 consolidated net profit to Rs 577 crore. Revenue fell 7.5%, while EBITDA dropped 19% and margins narrowed due to higher fuel and raw material costs amid the West Asia crisis. Despite the weak quarter, brokerages retained their 'Buy' ratings, citing strong long-term growth prospects.

Ambuja Cement Q1 Results: Revenue from operations also declined 7.5% YoY to Rs 9,474 crore from Rs 10,244 crore in the year-ago quarter, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Overall expenses were down at ₹8,802 crore (₹9,162 crore) on back of fall in power and freight cost at ₹2,389 crore (₹2,513 crore) and ₹2,258 crore (₹2,423 crore).
