Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) shares are pushing higher Tuesday, hovering near record territory, as investors treat the stock as a refuge from broader market turbulence ahead of big tech earnings.

After going nowhere for seven months, Apple stock is up 20% since its late-June low and less than two dollars below a fresh all-time record.

Apple stock notched a record high on Monday, three days before the iPhone maker's fiscal third-quarter earnings report.
