Canal+ will be the first to screen Paddington 4 on French small screens, six months after its theatrical release, following a renewed agreement with French cinema organisations. The pay-TV provider is committing significant investment, including €1 billion over five years from 2028, to secure privileged early access to new film releases. Oscar-nominated screenwriter Armando Iannucci and Simon Blackwell have been revealed as the writers for the upcoming Paddington 4. Actor Hugh Bonneville, who portrays Mr Brown, has indicated he is unlikely to return to the franchise, suggesting the series will continue with a focus on the bear.
