Over 44.73 crore Ayushman cards generated under AB-PMJAY: Govt

Over 44.73 crore Ayushman cards have been created under the national health scheme. More than 12.69 crore hospital admissions were authorized, totaling Rs 1.92 lakh crore. The scheme provides cashless treatment for numerous secondary and tertiary care services. Nearly 1.86 lakh Ayushman Arogya Mandirs strengthen the healthcare system nationwide. New AIIMS and medical colleges also expand tertiary healthcare infrastructure.
