Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav launched a sharp attack on the Centre during the discussion on the Anti-Paper Leak Bill in Parliament. Questioning the need for amending the law, he alleged that nearly 20 examination papers were leaked under the current government despite an existing legal framework. Yadav also raised concerns over the functioning of the National Testing Agency (NTA), questioned accountability, and accused the government of outsourcing the examination system. He further claimed that public pressure forced the government to act, saying, ‘Jhukane wala chahiye, sarkar bhi jhukti hai.’
