UK-German energy link NeuConnect reaches halfway cable-laying work

NeuConnect, a GBP-2.4-billion (USD 3.19bn/EUR 2.8bn) project designed to establish a 700 km (451 miles) direct energy link between the UK and Germany, has reached the halfway point of the cable installation work.
