KPMG Australia has stopped bidding for new Victorian government contracts as an investigation into the alleged misuse of confidential client information deepens. The audit and consulting firm is also withdrawing from ongoing tenders, while facing possible job cuts, lower partner pay and wider restrictions on public sector work across Australia.
