Municipal workers cleaned graffiti from walls around Jantar Mantar on Sunday. The visual marks of a student-led protest were erased by sanitation crews. Over one hundred workers and heavy equipment cleared nearly sixty metric tonnes of waste. Damaged footpaths and curbstones were also repaired to restore the area. The New Delhi Municipal Council completed the clean-up operation after protesters dispersed.
