Jonsson, 32, will portray Prince T’Challa II, the son of the original Black Panther character, previously played by the late Chadwick Boseman, who died in 2020.Known for his roles in HBO's Industry and the film Rye Lane, Jonsson was welcomed on stage by director Ryan Coogler. Coogler will return to direct the third instalment, with Letitia Wright and Winston Duke also reprising their roles as Shuri and M'Baku, respectively.
