March 31, 2026EPB Joins Southeastern Quantum Collaborative to Support Regional Infrastructure IntegrationEPB has joined the Southeastern Quantum Collaborative (SQC) to coordinate quantum research and workforce development across the region. This partnership utilizes the EPB Quantum Network to transition technologies from laboratories to industrial applications in energy, logistics, and defense. EPB is currently installing an IonQ Forte Enterprise quantum computer, which will provide the first integrated commercial access to both trapped-ion hardware and a photonics-based network.
