The Osun State Government has denied reports that it dissolved the leadership of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in the state, insisting that it only suspended the union's activities in motor parks as part of efforts to restore peace and order. The government also maintained that Nurudeen Alowonle remains the substantive Chairman of the Osun State chapter of the NURTW, stressing that neither Governor Ademola Adeleke nor the state government removed any duly appointed officers of the union.
