Private equity firm Bain Capital has agreed to acquire UK-based nutraceutical company Vitabiotics, expanding its presence in the global wellness and supplements market. The deal covers Vitabiotics UK business, Indias Meyer Organics and operations in Africa. The transaction value was not disclosed, but sources said the company was valued between $850 million and $900 million.
