New general education law approved by royal decree

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s General Education Law has been approved by royal decree. The new law overhauls how the sector is governed, provides the enablers needed to meet its objectives, and aims to raise the quality of the educational environment and its outcomes, spanning educational stages, the General Education Affairs Council, educational institutions, learning pathways, e-learning, further education, the learning environment, and the rights of students and teachers.
