Spain awards EUR 42.8m to renewable district heating, cooling projects

Spain's ministry for the ecological transition has awarded EUR 42.8 million (USD 48.7m) in grants to 36 renewable district heating and cooling projects under the second round of its RENORED incentive programme, supporting the reduction of fossil fuel use and greenhouse gas emissions in residential buildings and public infrastructure.
