Restraining ChatGPT from using copyrighted work detrimental to growth of AI: Delhi HC

The Delhi High Court refused to restrain ChatGPT from using ANI's copyrighted content for training its AI models, saying such use amounts to fair dealing under the Copyright Act. The court observed that restricting AI training would be detrimental to the growth of AI and large language models (LLMs) in India and against public interest.
